What: Cucumber Dill Slices (Makes 7 2qt jars)

Method: Clean 8 large English cucumbers. Crinkle-cut them or cut into spears. From what I’ve read, they are best if they are processed the day they are picked. Pack the slices into sterilized jars and cover with pickling liquid. I used a store-bought mix for these– classic dill. Bang out any bubbles or air pockets by tapping the jars on the counter. Cover and return to boiling water. Boil for 15 minutes. Remove and listen for the pop.
Wait a month before enjoying.
