Meal: Shrimp pizza puttanesca

Back Story: We all have that favorite pizza joint that makes the best pies, every time you visit, without fail. This is ours. We have several favorite pies, including the BBQ chicken & Isabella. Tonight, we had everything for the puttanesca. We even had special gourmet olives (stuffed with jalapeño, thanks Janet) that will make it extra yummy. Here goes!

Method: Slice olives and cut the raw shrimp in 1/2. Spread prepared pizza sauce on crust. You don’t need much, just enough to moisten it. Layer shrimp, olives, rinsed caper, garlic powder (roasted garlic is better but we didn’t have that), oregano, anchovies, parmesan, and sliced fresh mozzarella. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 425 degrees. Slice and enjoy.

Note: We used fresh frozen shrimp which made things a little too juicy. I would cook the shrimp first next time.
